If you want to compare them, go to summitracing.com, do a search for the cams, and check the compare boxes. that will put the specs side by side for you. Try to get the gt40P heads if you can, they have more flow all the way up past .500 lift.

You need to figure out what you want to do w/ your car before you start buying things. Once you've got a goal in mind, then you can plan the parts you'll need.....+ if we know what you're trying to do w/ it, then we can be more helpful.

Used to run a b303 as well, had no tuning issues and had a good sound to it.
Made 260-270rwhp on stock e7's with that cam.
Valve covers never came off, well to replace that cork gasket.
But stock RR, just bone stock e7's

Look at other cams, too. I have an E cam, so I'm not knocking the letter cams, but TFS stage 1 and comp are newer....just something to look at.

Ok, looks like I found the right forum. I need cam info, sighh............ I have a stock 302HO 89 block. I am going to put a trickflow upper and lower aluminum intake on it along with some BBK shorty headers. Im looking for a cam for it now. I am looking for something that will sound good as well as perform. At this point I have stock heads, but later down the road I plan to put some GT-40 or GT-40P heads on it. Im not worried about passin emissions so im not really interested in the E303. I was looking more at the B or F. Really, Ill probably end up getting a cam and lifter set from crane or comp. But I was using the E, F, B cams as a valve lift guidline. Also I have not heard about this TFS stage 1. Just lookin for some opinions or info from some fellow mustang buddies. Thanks

I have only used the stock cam and the b cam, and the b cam is great.
it does take a little time for the computer to adapt to the cam though.
once you hit 4000rpm hold on, it pulls really hard.
especially if you have aluminum heads.

I have no emissions to worry about. the county i live in doesnt have E check. So in taht issue i'm fine. I'm just lookin to get the most out of the setup i'm lookin at. I'm gonna get either the gt40 or the gt40p heads. I've been lookin on ebay for ahwhile now. I was leanin more towards the P's cuz i've read better reviews over the 40's. Right now i'm just lookin to save a buck and wait to find the right deal.

You need to get out more if your statement is true.

The 345hp Crate Motor from FMS has the GT40 heads with the B-Cam.

Hmmm, Given the same crate motor, the Bcam makes 345 horses and the the Ecam comes with 340 horses.

I have this crate motor with the Bcam and prior to modding it, the motor ran smooth and strong. However, being a gear head I wanted more power..soooo, I replaced the heads with AFR 165's, replaced the 1.6's with 1.72's, added a Vortech S-trim..the list is too long to re-type so read my sig or visit my website. Prior to the install, I retarded the cam 4 degrees to give more on top end..after 3000 rpm...it pulls all the way to 6000.

I dyno'ed at 390/397 to the tires, all with a backyard tune.
