everyone wanted me to get the rest of the gt ground effects but I think the lx looks so much cleaner. and I modified my front bumper so it will look different then anyone elses I cut t bar out and glassed in the sides. Kind of like a grill delete for a fox.

Well, I was thinking about ditching the wiper but than I was thinking... if its ever nice and Im far away from home and I get caught in a storm or something where I dont have a choice but to drive in the rain; its going to be bad enough with the wipers let alone without them lol. And I want it to look as "streetable" as possible (full interior, back seats, etc.)
RainX is your friend!!

I have a 88 mustang and i want to know the most effective way i could decrease the weight of my fox body... keep in mind i like to keep it water tight, hold in the heat, and i drive it everyday probably 40 miles... and what would be the most effective tire on my 16x8 pony's... i have 245's on there but i am about to replace them and don't know how big or what can fit... And if anyone knows a cheap way to find a fog lamp bracket... i need one there only 90 bucks everywhere so i need one for cheap too..
Lots of good ideas on this thread for weight reduction. As far as tires...the pony's are 16x7, but I'm not sure of the widest size. If you have quad shocks, you won't be able to fit as wide of a tire in the rear.

The Poly seats like Summit sells can be on aluminum brackets like I make and with the fabric on them they are 17# each. Stardard seats have got to be 50-60# each......
Ditching the power R/P will save another 30#
50# for aluminum heads......
Just what I know.
BTW, all the HVAC gear will be more like 40#......
