Ouch, that sucks, you'd think that they would've engineered it a little bit better. How come no one else has that problem? Makes me worried, for when I go to do an intake. Have you started the car up yet with the intake? What other mods does your car have and how do you like that intake?

if he has the knock off one i can see that happening. the chinese make those

it seems to not have the ford logo on the lower so im thinking its knock off

I had a Typhoon that had the same problem, I did not have AC so I was able to move the Dist counter clockwise to compensate.

yep i can belive that. ppl go for the cheaper fawk ups of the originals and end up having alot more issues then they know of. i know of some of the cobra intakes that ports dont line up properly

i decided to take a small round file and just file down on the tfi module on the bottom mounting hole just a little bit. We adjusted the timing and its all gravy baby. Thanks everyone for your help. Ill send some pictures tonight just in case anyone else has this same problem.

it was delievered in a ford racing box and has the ford racing logo on it i bought it from summit so i believe its an original
