pro 5.0 3.90 gears

Default pro 5.0 3.90 gears

has anyone in the world bought 3.90 gears from pro 5.0 because i have had them for 2yrs now and i still cant find a speedo gear for them and i have called pro 5.0 and they gave a couple places to check but those places have never heard of that so if i am the only person that has bought these gears then i guess no one can help PLEASE ANYBODY THAT KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PLEASE RESPOND THANKS

Yeah I've noticed the same thing when looking around at speedo stuff. I guess it's just not that popular. What are you using right now? The 3.73 or the 4.10 obviously would be your best bet. Just a little high or low. I guess it would be closer to the one you have now if it's for the stock gears.

Good luck though, hope you get it worked out.

I have 3.90 gears and have a 21-tooth speedo gear for it. My speedometer is pretty accurate as my mph is only off by about 2mph at 40 mph. That is 2mph below what the speedometer is showing. 3.90 gears are a real good alternative if you have an AOD. You get really good gas mileage on the highway but your city driving will suffer, or atleast thats how it is in my 1988 5.0 GT .
