Default HEAD cc????

is there a power difference in the cc say from 58cc to 61 i know you have different c/r with each one but a different piston can put the c/r where ever you want i was just wondering if there is a power difference like maybe more top end or more low end can you guys help me out im about to buy some heads i can get a good deal on 61cc but i heard 58cc were better i was wondering y????

If you make your combustion chamber size bigger you get less compression. Less compression, in theory of N/A equals less power...

yea but say i had 58cc heads and had 9 to 1 compression and then i had 61 cc heads and changed pistons so my compression would be 9 to 1 too would there be and difference in power?

Whats the point of doing the second one unless you needed new pistons.

Why not buy the heads if they are a great deal, and take them to a machine shop and have them shaved. c/r is a major player in power. I think when I was in the process of building my engine, the shop had a computer program for HP/TQ. The difference between 10:1, and 10.5:1 was almost 35 HP/45 TQ. I went with 10.5:1. According to most books that I have read, 11.8:1 is as far as you want to go with pump gas. I'm also going the nitrous route, and wanted to stay more streetable.
