Cats or no Cats?

Cats or no Cats?
Well, I have already decided that I want an X-pipe on this car, but I am wondering if I should get a catted X or a O/R X-pipe... I would like the O/R but I don't want the loud exhaust note, but I do want the performance, so I am thinking about going with the X-pipe with 2 high flow cats so that I can still pass the emission laws here is CA, and not have to swap out my mid pipe every other year and keep the exhaust somewhat quiet (This is my daily driver and I drive 300 miles one way to my home in Havasu on a regular basis.)
What should I do?

Because of your emission laws, I'd go with the cats. It will still sound good without being too loud. From the factory, they come with 4 cats, and the aftermarket x-pipe has 2 cats on it, so obviously there will be some performance gains. However, even with the cats, you may still have some difficulties passing emmisions b/c they're high flow cats. They dont filter as well.

I THINK NO CATS FOR BETTER PERFORMENCE ITS JUST SOMENTHING ABOUT THE SOUND THAT MAKES THE RUSH IN YOUR BODY I DONT KNOW I WOULD LEAVE IT AND PAY 80 BUCKS LIKE I DO HERE IN DALLAS TX SO IT CAN PASSED........
