torque boxes
yea, the lowers are a bit$h to work on. you would be better off having someone build good solid boxes. if you lived near me i could do it all, but i could still build the boxes out of whatever you want and send them to you. i would just need dimensions.

had to give you a hard time iceman
I've had both upper and both lower torque boxes rip out of my '00GT....not all at the same time. That car was completely stock, but got tossed around corners really hard all the time. The lowers looked like a grenade went off leaving metal shrapnel all over. The uppers just pretty much popped the spot welds and the whole brackets came undone in one piece.
My '83 boxes still look like new even with alot more power and sticky tires. I didn't want to take any more chances, though and had all the seams welded. Holding up well so far.
