stupid questions about 5.0s :)
i drive a nice v6 pansy 1995 mustang, if i dump the clutch or floor it during a turn i get some wheel spin nothing special. and at best i can churp second.
ive never driven in a 5.0 or gt mustang of any kind, the fastest car ive driven to date is my uncles WV gti.
im really looking to sell my mustang after the winter months and buy myself a nice vert GT for the summer. and i have a few pointless fun questions to ask.
obviously my first being what kind of wheel spin can you get with the 5.0 fox or sn95. can you spin them real good without even dropping the clutch?
does the acceleration after you shift from first to second pin you in your seat?
how easily does the 5.0 bog down?
again i know these questions are pointless but the more i know the more motivation i have to work my *** off and save a few grand for the spring time.

RE: stupid questions about 5.0s :)
all that depends on a lot of different things, but you wound be dissapointed comming from a 6er. You will be able to to burnouts pretty easy, both wheels, and it will kick out around corners.
I have only ever been in my 5.0, but it puts a smile on my face everytime I hammer it in second....I can usually throw people back in their seat pretty well just by hitting gas, and I can always break the tires loose in first, just by hitting the gas, no clutching it. You wana go for a ride in my car?? I have a video I made testing out my camera mount, if you turn it up real loud, it will be just like you are ridding shotgun.

RE: stupid questions about 5.0s :)
My 5.0, 5spd, with 3.55's and a few other bolt-ons, will spin the snot out of 245's. First gear: Normal take off rollup to 5-10 MPH, mat the gas and slide all over the, speed shift 2nd and it still is going back and forth. Or, Normal first, shift into 2nd and mat the gas, forget chirping, the rear end goes into the other lane for a while. IT fun evry once and awhile, then you see why youwant to suspension work, tire spin = slow.
Edit: Dont wreck it. Repsect the torque.
