going 31 spline and i need to know if there is a junk yard trak lok i can use
i was under the impression if i used one from a f 150 it would be an open diff as you all know limited slip
wasnt sure what i could pull this unit from
will one from a 05 06 GT work are those cars already 31 spline ?? saw it on e bay
where can i buy a 31 spline rebuild kit at or is the one for a 28 spline the same rebuild kit

OK, I contemplated the same thing. You can get one out of an explorer. By the time you by a junkyard one, buy a kit to o/h it, you could have bought a brand new one on line for 240.00 w/ carbon fiber clutches. That's what I did

The rebuild kits can be bought from Summit.

 

like pro said.. Just buy a new one. The best price I could find for mine was $100 just for the diff.
