So what, you just gonna run the **** out of a new motor w/ no break in period?
Not a new motor, but new clutch and trans. Actually the top end of the motor is new, I was given a stock shortblock to get the car running. I got the heads tonight and it should be running Thursday.

According to multiple machine shops motor break in consists of starting the car running the car at 2000rpm for 2-5minutes. Warm the car up. Shut it off, readjust the rockers, and do an oil change. Sounds like that shouldn't be a problem.
