your calculations are WAY off

you want a 245/45/17 in front and a 275/40/17 in the rear.

thats what i thought is i should have a 245/45/17 on the front but then the side wall on the front would be bigger than the back

umm, yeah not much

275=width in millimeters
40=sidewall, in PERCENTAGE compared to width (this sidewall is 40% of 275) (correct me if im wrong, but im 99% positive thats what it is)
17= Wheel Diameter

thanks for all the help. i got it figured out. after hours of reasearch. as one of you stated i need 245/45 in the front and 275/40 in the rear. i did that into the tire calulator and the calculation and they matched up. thanks to all again for all the help.
