got a 50 gt auto the car idles like rev and jumpin ang when drivin lookin at the tach it like surges and it like jumps and shakes and when i give it gas to make it stop it like hissates and then goes and it repeats the tach is always surgin and floatin around werid just did the pluds and fuel filter still does it and verry bad gas mileage help

I had that problem about a year ago, for me it was the distributor, I would check the cap and rotor make sure those are not too old. If that does not work then have that distributor checked out. hope this helps...
