i was getting 300-360 mile per tank but lately its dropped off the fuel pump is failing again

right now im at 160 per tank it really sucks

check your timing, you TPS settings and fuel pressure maybe its to low and its dumping extra fuel to compensate for lack of atomization

yes i was getting that with 3.55s, k+n, c+l, bumped timing, hpipe, flows, deleted smog, the 5spd conversion was the best mod for mpg and fun factor so far

well if you are doing alot of city driving... best mod for my gas mileage actually seemed to be my gears! i went from 2.73's to 3.73's and my mileage has really had a noticably good change!

Here's a handy chart for some different applications prior to Ford switching to electronic speedometers.

5 Speed | 1983-89 | 1990-93 | 1994-98
Ratio/Tran. gear
3.27/ **** 19t **|** 21t **|** 21t
3.55/ **** 20t **|** 23t **|** 23t
3.73/ **** 21t **|** 23t **|** 23t
4.10/ **** 23t **|** 23t **|** 23t

Auto | 1983-1998
Ratio/Tran. gear
3.27/ **** 19t automatic
3.55/ **** 20t automatic
3.73/ **** 21t automatic
4.10/ **** 23t automatic
