Default OEM MAF vs 70mm 1993 cobra MAF

Just shot some picture's of the '93 cobra MAF i got off ebay for $60 vs my stocker.
(this '93 cobra maf has been programed for 19lb injectors)

thought some of you guy's would be interested.

enjoy!

took a no-flash picture so you could see just how TINY the exit of the OEM maf is compared to the cobra.

im expecting a decent power gain, as this is the last "bolt on" for my car.
maybe nothing "wow" to gain, but hopefully ill gain 10rwhp.

thanks!

after the "blizzard of 08/09" yesterday, this is how my car currently look's

my 8" antenna was covered, it was 11-13" of snow ontop of the car.

just to show the depth of the snow

the 93 combra maf had a slightly different transfer function over a stock maf which can cause some slight running issues. You would be better off with a 94-95 maf which matches the transfer function of the stock fox maf alot closer

If you're getting that kind of snow at this time of year you need to get some kind of heated storage for that 'vert!!

I bought the same thing. It will probably surge and run rich. It probably has a F4SX-XXXx-ax Sensor in the housing from a 94 T-bird/Cougar. Simply, remove it and install the one from your 55mm stock MAF and it will run fine. Mine does
