I figured there had to be better technology out there than 40+ year old technology. I guess I missed something in his post that he was putting down 2-3 thousand HP. It certainly would'nt benefit a 300 HP car & yes, I've been around the block several times & was @ 1 time a line mechanic before my motorcycle accident. My age has nothing to do with my knowledge of cars but you could always find out my age in my profile.

fortunately for him, he does not need 2-3 thousand horsepower to run a glide... If he builds what he is planning to, then he will be fine providing he gets a suitable glide...

There are many DS builders out there.. I am going with a chromoly DS fro Precision Shaft Technologies It is going to run around $500 with good 1350 ends on it..

Dennys Driveshafts out of New York. He's built me about 40 driveshafts. Ive never twisted one. One of the few things on some of my cars I havent broken. I have an Inland Empire in my car right now. It will have a Dennys Shaft in it soon.
