Anyway sorry to hear such, I had the same thing happen to me recently, rebuilt engine with 6 broken rings, vaccum leaks on intake due to overporting, valve tips all destroyed on heads , and a retrofit cam in a roller block

, yeah I was screwed too, there ya' go screwed = better choice of words

Sorry for my vulgar tantrum!My parents would be so displeased!As for the pistons there the original ones that came in the engine in 87.I think Im gonna go with a 351 instead of the 302.I know the 302 could be stroked but it wouldnt be compatitable with my heads.I also heard the 351 would be a more dependable engine.I posted on the 351 side for some H/C/I ideas for my 185s but havent had any suggestions.Now Im asking the 5.0 side for some help.What would you guys recommend?
