1988 Mustang GT Convertible - I would like to know EVERYTHING about this car!
OK, I have already decoded the VIN, but I would like to find out much more.
I just acquired a beautiful 1988 Mustang GT Convertible with the 255 hp 5.0 HO, 5-speed, loaded, alloy wheels, etc.
The car is in great shape, but the motor needs a rebuild. Got that in the works. Now I would like info on this year car, such as optional equipment offered, and want to make sure she is completely stock. When I had my 1973 Mach I, I learned all I could, down to the production numbers of the cars with 351 Cleveland 4 bbls and what options and accessories were offered at the dealer and what was aftermarket. I've been out of the Mustang game for way too long and would love to be brought up to speed (LOL!) on the '88s. Thanks for any advice, links and resources!
