I just finished my engine build in my fox stang. Before putting the engine in the car withouth

the AOD tranmission the motor would turn over nicely. I decided to attach the AOD

transmissioin with the Motor and when i was ready to fire it up it wouldn't turn over. I tried

to turn it over by hand it wouldn't its locked. I seems like it stuck somewhere, has anyone

had this problem before or any thoughts on what it might be?

sounds like something isn't installed right with the AOD. like the torque converter isn't mated to the pump right and it wont turn. or the t/c isn't mated to the flywheel correctly. dont think the motor would lock up just from installing it. got to be something to do with the tranny.

Pull the trans and see if it turns over again.

might be stupid, but sometimes you over look the little things, is the trans in park? / not in gear?
