Thanks! Yeah, I figured.
Any idea how can I find out more about my car?! What should I check? Numbers?
I have a 4 speed manual. Is that original? Was it swapped? I put the reverse like the first gear but I have to push it down. Is it like that for everybody?
How do I know if it's H.O. or not?! How do U determine that?

Thanks Guys for any help!

i dont know much about the earlier carbed models, but i've never seen a ford with a push-down style reverse gear. thats usually reserved for german cars.
also, i was under the impression that the HO engines were only the fuel injected models. The carb versions were not HO.

I might be wrong on both accounts, but a 4 speed is definately not normal.

Why don't you post a few pics of your engine bay and maybe we can pic a few things out for you. If you remove the starter you can look right above it on the block and get its casting number.
