i was actually in this same predicament where i wanted a built c4 but did end up going with the t5 swap. Now i keep thinking about how my trans is the weak link

LOL!!! My past experiences with wreckers in the area in no. I was quoted $750 for a used 8.8 with 4.10's, and when I showed up to see this "golden rearend" I noticed it had disk brakes lol. Never again, I'd rather wait for a cheap core and buy everything new....f'ers lol.

As for the weak link, I see what you mean. Not only do I want a better trans setup, but I'm also slowly building up my parts for my HCI. I'm feeling it's best to do the trans now so when the HCI is rockin and ready the trans will hold/give better 60's. Then its on to suspension. Speaking of suspension, you've got a wild project FS308. Can't wait for the finished "POS" to rock the 1320/streets. Keep the pics coming!
