93 Reborn Build
sweeeeeeeet! glad its not rubbing anymore.
my weld draglites rub the a arm thing that comes off the Kmember at full lock. sucks, Ive tried grinding on it some, but i think I need to just stop being cheap, get some caster camber plates, and a proper alignment.

I got the time to be able to get my starter wiring taken care of. I am running it under the oil pan and zip stripping it to the steering rack. Then it is going through the k member as shown and up into the fender well. The only thing I am not really happy with is the fact I didn't have any 12GA wire for the small wire that runs down to the starter so I used 14GA. I think it will be alright as long as I don't have any long hard starts. Tomorrow night I am going to fix the alternator wiring and just keep my stock alternator for now. Maybe if I am lucky I can take the time to finish ALL if not most of the wiring in the engine bay tomorrow night since it is the weekend. I better pic up some monsters on the way home because its going to be a late night! lol

If I had the extra cash then yea it probably would. I have thought about getting the ones at scott rod fab.

This weekend has been pretty uneventful with the car. I have been messing with the wiring at the front of the car and getting it straight. I have lengthened the headlight grounds and the grounds that come with the body harness to the outside so I can ground them all in the same exact spot. I am going to have a stud welded onto the piece of metal I will be connecting the 2 pieces of my fender's rail and have that be my main grounding point for the engine bay grounds. I am also going to mount the solenoid there permanently and mount the coil there temporarily. I have also thought about making a bracket/plate comming off of it so I can mount the box and controller. Remember this is all temporary until I figure out what I am doing exactly to close up the fender aprons. Along with this I need to figure out how I am mounting my battery along with it all. It might end up kinda crowded so I might put the box and controller's mounting plate on the passenger side to even it all out some.
Anyway, I have fixed the alternator wiring completely so that is ready to go. I did start wiring in my DCC fan controller tonight but didn't get too far on it. Again I lengthened the grounds so that they can meet in one spot. Now I need to find a 12v key on source for my controller and ignition box so I can get them taken care of. I might be able to go back out tonight and get some more done but we will see.

ProjectResto83, just wanted to say I read through your entire thread today and I'm super motivated to start on the 93 I picked up a few weeks ago. Thanks for all the great disassembled pics, I'm learning a lot from them and figuring out how to tackle some of the issues I have. I'm battling with emissions right now, Virginia's killing me. Your car's lookin great!
