Removing headlight switches

Im trying to remove my headlight switches that are on both sides of the gauge cluster, i need to put a adapter on my autometer speedometer. I cant figure out how to get them off, any ideas?

they just pry out but they are tight try a little flat head screwdriver

I believe the outside comes out first ( outside as in furthest from center of instrument panel ).

+1, i think you just pull on the switches and the whole thing comes out
