I was wondering where I might be able to find a GT-40 upper/lower intake manifold for a 94 5 Litre. From what I understand, the 94/95 has a different manifold from 86-93. Anyone know any websites that sells the 94 upper/lower?

Also- do some 94-97 explorers have the GT-40 upper/lower on them?

the only difference in the intake form 86-93 to 94-95 is the elbow on it. something like these http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...s-And-Adaptors

 

they are on ebay all the time. While you have it out of the car take a little time and open it up a little bit. As he said the 94-95 intakes have a 45 degree elbow on them but you can buy the elbow and add it to a standard intake with no problems.

 

You can find them pretty easy on ebay motors, just type 1995 Mustang GT GT40 Intake, youll find plenty of them, thats what im looking for right now as well.

 

So the aftermarket elbow can perfectly fit the 93 manifold with the TB? I've never done an intake manifold swap, or really looked into it- but it will bolt on to the rest of the engine just fine, right?

yeah, they bolt up fine. Do a search for 'gt-40 intake mustang' on e-bay and you will see them listed.
