questions about a price of a 1990 5.0 GT
Im looking at this Blue 1990 Mustang GT and it has a paxton supercharger, 59k actual original miles, rebuilt 5spd, 3:73 gears, very clean grey int, chrome cobra r's with nittos on the rear, long tubes, many new parts, ice cold a/c, and the body is amazing not scratches or dents pretty much mint body. the guy wants $7200 is that too much the price in negotiable.

if it has that low miles and has mint paint with the paxton tires wheels etc it sounds like a good price but money talks i would start lower of course see his reaction and go from there. that being said is it the deal that makes you want the car or is it the car you have been looking for?

ya it definitely is the car ive been looking for and the price is really nice for how nice it is . i guess you have to see it to understand. I've been looking for some time for a nice 90-93 GT hatch that wasnt beat up and wasnt a project car, maybe 80k-100k miles but with 58k i feel like ive almost struck gold. im definatly doing to try and talk him down i was thinking of starting at like $6000 with paying as much as $6700.
i currently have a vert 92 5.0 that i love but i mean the thing leaks and the passenger door doesnt close right and the driver window doesnt seal right so when it rains in florida ( every day now) it rains in my car.
ya i took pics of it

I would be skeptical of 58k mileage. Did you run a carfax on it to verify it ? Exterior looks like it has been repainted, and it is very easy to make engine look clean. If it is indeed 58k verified miles than it is a good deal, talk him down to $6000-6500 and you are golden.

ya the guy said that the previous owner had painted the gray bottom molding but that the paint job was original i ran all the letters and numbers on the door and it all checked out for the color and what he said. Ya i checked car fax and the milage is right.

thats great its the exact car you want mint low miles! itsjust matter of how bad the guy needs the money. either way if it is in that good of shape with the extras its still IMO a good deal even if you do pay 6700 but 6000 has a nice ring to it

It seems like a nice car for the money, up here it would bring an easy $7500, but rust free, nice foxes are really hard to find. In the end it really depends on how bad he needs to sell it. My notch is always for sale, but I don't want or need to sell it so the price is $10,000 firm, maybe this guy has the same attitude? Offer him $6500 and work from there.

well it sure wasnt babied was it ???? most t5's last 100k+ even with powershifting and slicks on a relatively stockish car
if it is all true, that sounds about hi end of the spectrum.
it was a notch, id say jump on it, but i think he is a bit high....ballpark... but hi
im thinking $6500-$6800
