Default grand marquis short block

Just was wondering if it would work with everything currently on my car. Came across one for cheap and was planning on rebuilding mine this summer anyways.
Thanks

just the short block? you'll need the oil pickup and pan off your fox, the cam is a non ho firing order, so scrap that, what year is the engine? is it a roller block? pistons are not forged pistons, are there valve reliefs in the pistons? the block itself should work, its just the cam is the big item that wont...

Yeah i planned on putting new pistons and a new cam in it. Have a B cam now and have heard nothing but bad about the letter cams. Pretty much would use everything else i could off the current motor.

just trying to save some down time is all, its my dd. Plus figured it has less hard miles on it if that would make any difference or not.

My engine had 114,600 miles pulled it out have it on engine stand. Used sensors, fuel rail, and thermostat housing on engine I repalced it with. never seem to get money back on modified engine so kept original in case I sell. Buyer has option to pay or not.

Does anyone know if the sensors, alternator, etc... would work with my car? Been trying to do research but having trouble finding anything. Thanks
