After 250k on the factory power plant it is time for a rebuild. What do I need as far as parts to get the most power out of it without doin any machine work? I have been told I can make around 400hp without doin so. Also would like to leave room for upgrades as well such as a turbo and maybe some spray.

 

YOU need lots of money and machine work for a rebuild

 

sounds like your better off buying a new short block or long block then rebuilding your motor. if your willing to forgo forged parts 50resto.com sells a short block for 699.

 

Money is not a issue. I was simply asking which parts would work the best together to make the most power without machine work.
