I have the stock tail lights on my car. If I were to buy the stock ones again is that all one piece or does the outer web cover come off that is painted red?My len covers are faded....... thanks

I've never owned a GT, but im pretty sure the outer web comes off, and then the tail lights are one plastic piece per side.

Before you waste money on tail lights i STRONGLY recommend buying the product that they sell at stores for 'freshening' up head lights. I used it on my mustang's tail lights 2 years ago and it was a ridiculous difference.

Tail light covers are very expensive, and worth finding used for this reason.

There not to hard to remove, and even easier to clean!

I tried removing the webbing on my GT tail light lenses and it does not come off.

they are made on.you will have to have the red lens taped off so you can paint the webbing

Ya.... ok that's what i thought.So now do I buy the stock ones to keep the car original and have them painted to match the car or buy the LX or Cobra ones Hmmm Decisions Decisions!! lol Thanks guys........

Not fan of Cobra tail lights, dont like the amber light on them.

I dont remember where but someone sells a tape off kit so you can paint the GT tails without having to cut out a bunch of little pieces.

Cheesegrater for GT's and keep the plain ones on the LX's.

I don't mind the GTs tails on a GT.Everyone pitched them now people want them back.
