hey yall if i make my 347 like i want could i use the trickflow 360hp twisted wedge top end kit??? my goal is 400ish HP...

 

Why would you use a 302 kit on a 347? Get TFS FAC 190's and a custom cam and you can make 400 at the wheels if you do it right.

 

if you make your 347 like "you" want, WE will see a second thread in the near future expressing disappointment, 302 parts make 302 power and that 360 hp kit is flywheel with no accessories

 

get some High Ports

 

The trickflow kit is designed for a 302. You need someone to help design an engine for you. I would contact an engine builder or at least go off someone else's build and have a cam designed for my application. With the auto, you need to look at transmission upgrades before you pick out a cam. You want a stall or your car will be slow and you might as well throw an explorer camshaft in it.

 

i use victor jrs. custom cam make over 500 hp.

 

yea its a learning curve im new to the domestics (from a ricer to this lol) i think ima go 306 instead and find some better heads but hopefully for a good price

 

I use CNC'd Trick Flow heads and an 'off the shelf' cam and I'm making about 400+ to the wheels......
