Option #3:
buy a 6.7L dually Cummins Ram, upgrade the turbo on that, finish tweaking the 347, use the truck to get the car to the track when you have to take it more than 100 miles, then take turns using either the car or the tow rig to lay waste to everyone...
just my .02

I like either option. I have been thinking of changing my setup a couple of different ways too since I f'd this motor up. I am leaning more towards the one that involves painting the car.
I guess it just comes down to going the direction you want so you will keep the car since it is what you wanted.

Alright, think i've got my head cleared on this.
Gonna finish up the car with the first option I put up there. Gonna drive the **** out of it and probably put a nitrous setup back int he car.
Contingency Plan: Should I melt a piston.. I'll obviously need to build a new shortblock. I'll salvage the crank and rods, swap over to the Dart "special high performance" block, and run a set of Probe 11938 pistons, which will bring my CR down to about 9.5:1.... toss in a good boost grind, and add the On3 turbo kit.
I'm going to be building the 4.30 geared rear with the stock axle that was in the car (it's in my basement) so if I ever need to downgrade my axle ratio (boost) ill have a platform to start with already.
Thanks for the help guys... I should have some time slips and new pictures by September/October... which is when I will finally get out of the desert.
