Default Higher output alternator

In my 93 5.0, i'm running a sound system, alarm and an electric fan. Would it be wise to put a higher output alternator on it? Ive noticed sometimes at idle the meter bounces slighty and when I had it at my mechanics for a brake job he was telling me how the stock alternators, mine is replaced but has the same output, were not really designed to run an electric fan, however my stang needed it... driving down to the beach on a hot weekend in So Cal with traffic would cause it to run a little hot.

The fox alt's were really weak, like 45 amps max. The sn95's introduced a 3g alt with 120 amps, it is possible to swap them onto the fox's too. Look it up, in fact if you view tech articles there's a write up. You just need to solder a couple wires, trim the alt bracket slightly and then it bolts right in. The pulley is bigger though, so you may need a slightly bigger belt. Its a worth while swap

If you do the 3g swap you wont have to worry about supporting your added electronics. I did it on my 86 and I have 0 problems with it.

I bought a small case 3g alternator. It was high. Like 155 but, it did come with directions and all the wiring and fuse links needed.
