I agree and as I said above it does not become as critical until major horsepower is being obtained, the more power the bigger the difference will be.

I will just say that I went with the 3 inch magnaflow competition exhaust and after two weeks of not being able to hear myself think or the radio at all and no noticeable power gain, I took it off and now it's in my shed waiting to be sold.

I just installed a Ford Racing Borla Touring exhaust and think it's outstanding. I love the sound at lower RPMs, no drone at cruising speed, sounds awesome when you hit it. If the Sport is significantly louder, I personally think it would be too much for me.

I am not an exhaust expert but I've been told that whenever you allow air to move free when needed will result in increased power.
