I'm considering getting the s281 body kit...has anyone on here done this yet? I guess I might get the powerflow hood too...but they are 1300.00 just for the hood. Or, I could do cheap route, and simply get a stock hood/scoop, but that would be sort of like a "mut" of a car :-)

Just wondering if anyone has any pics of finished product...and if they are happy with it. I like the look, some do, some don't. Love the grille and back.

Have you ever seen this kit in person? I have, and IMO, it looks much more "plasticy" (for lack of a better term) than it does in the pictures. The corner running lights area very ricer. Granted, the powerflow hood is beautiful, but you can get a full carbon hood from TruCarbon for less. I know a guy who gives great discounts on their stuff, PM me for more. I personally wouldn't go with the kit, the quality is just not there. If you like the gaudier kits, and have the $$$$, then go with the SMS. That thing in person looks absolutely incredible, to the extent that it actually looks like a different car.

Thanks for the info. I actually decided against it, but was looking into the GT500 front end kit. But then again...I don't want a "poser" car that looks like a GT500.

So...I'm leaning towards either leaving a 2012 GT Premium the same (maybe billet grill), or, simply getting a GT500! I found a used 2011 for a great price...but have to check it out.
