Default Those with Borla S Type, good for daily driving?

Guys, a friend of mine wants to sell me his Borla S Type axle backs. I currently have FRPP GT500 axle backs, which I love, but some times have wished them to bit just a tad louder.

I do not want to attract a bunch of attention if I'm doing some spirited driving. I just want a clean sound, no drone, and something I can hear a little more when I jam the gas (but again, I don't want everyone else hearing me too).

Thoughts? If I do this, I'm doing it today. Thanks.

First Mod was Borla S-Type Axel backs. Love THEM!! around 2000 rpm is when they sing! 3000 they Scream! but anything lower than 2000 rpm they are barely noticeable. Really has a great growl. not to mention they look amazing.

I've got Borla S-type Catbacks, and the sound from the mufflers is perfect for daily living.

No "cockpit boom/cabin drone" at highway cruising speeds, mellow under about 2500 RPM, and more and more beastly as the revs climb above that. You basically control the volume with your right foot ... highly recommended!

If you don't want them, how much does he want for them?

Love them on the Boss. Granted ive got the side pipes opened up. But yeah you can hear them when in the revs but once you drop it in high gear you no longer hear them.

Well I have put them on. I can't say that I care for the extra sound over my GT500 exhaust. I LOVE the tone, but I work at night and even though you can easily sneak around with these, I don't unconsciously sneak. But these are only 4 months old from AZ, so they look right out of the box. Love the tips.

I may just try to resell them. I paid 500 and would want to get that again.
