i love the do it yourselfers! they crack me up. All the trouble to save a couple of bucks. lol im gonna tell you right now to charge the cap and be extremely careful. That capacitor has enough juice in it to kill you or send you to the hospital with some wicked burns. Do yourself a favor and just take it to a shop. its like 60 to install a 2 ch amp 70 to do a 4ch amp save yourself a lot of headaches. and when you look at amps and subs ignore max power. Look at the RMS rating! that’s it!

You want your amps' RMS value to equal the total of your subs' RMS value for optimum performance.
