im almost done with mine. in fact im finishing to night. i need to make one more trim pice. i have went with a 12 inch kicker l7 this lil efer pounds. the think people dont know with kickers are the l5 l7 and solox take the longest to break in. if broke in properly they will last a lifetime. you cant blare it once you get it. you should only have it turned up 1/3 the way. and use the rms level on the sub. the l7 says its 750 rms the zx 750.1 mono block kicker amp is rms 750 and peaks at 941 which is plenty. back to breaking in the square kicker subs(solobaric) you should atleast break them in for about a month if not more. they take longer to break in because of the surrounding. there is alot more and the 90 deg. bends are stiff as hell. the circle subs have no tuff spots so they break in easy. the 2005 model sucks ***** for kicker the silverwith the blue in the center. they made the 2006 way better the all dark grey ones. well enough of my talkin and here are a few pictures. the black trim pice is raised up about an inch and i have red neons one on each side. looks really nice. and the red is a suede material. the box isnt as wide as it looks. its only 25 wideby 15 deepby 11 tall.

and i still havent figured out how to take good pics of the neons.

they will last a lifetime.
No sub will ever last a lifetime, unless you never use it. Most subwoofers wouldn't make it much past8 years if you used it on even a semi regular basis.

My subs lasted about 10 years in my Foxbody, but the dust cones were falling apart due to the heat exposure frombeing under the back window. They still sounded pretty good, but beat the $%&^ out of them all that time, so guess I can't complain
