I have the cd/tape combo head unit in my 02 mustang. Does it happen to have a way to hook a sub up to it?

 

On a factory head unit, it won't have a sub output, but you can tap the rear speakers and add a line level converter, or go high level straight from the speakers to a high level input, just make sure there is somekind of crossover on the amp turned on low pass.

I have no idea what you said but man it sounds right, guess I will be heading to a audio store tommorow and say what you said, but try not to look stupid Ty for the input

Or I could drive to valdosta and get mvaldosta to do it

well for subs you won't have a problem with noise... at least not a noticable one... just don't think that you're going to be able to replace the mids/highs and amp them off the stock hu... you'll hear alternator whine like a ****!
