i would mount the tweeters where the factory tweeters are. i know it is better to keep the woofers and tweeters as close to each other as possible, but in the doors where the stock speakers are, the tweeters are just too low. my left leg would block the sound from the left components, and my passenger's leg would block the right speaker. it just messed the sound all up so i had them mounted on the sail-panels like you plan.

Didn't want to start any trouble, just trying to get ideas. I appreciate the responses so far...and in the future. I feel the same about the BBuy/CCity systems. Most of it is crap and you don't get what you pay for, unless you work there and get the discount. Then it may be beneficial b/c it would be that much cheaper.

I am going to go with the Eclipse 3100 with iPOD adapter. I don't know much about CDT components but if they are comparable to the higer end Polks and MBs, then I will give them a shot. I've done some digging on the sub (eD) and I've found alot of good reviews, etc. on them so I think that'll suite me well. I don't usually try to go for the mainstream b/c I always seem to get let down (Sony, Pioneer). The amps seem like alot of power for cheap so I'll give them a shot too. I think I will try out the setup that PReal has suggested since it is stuff that I haven't really tried. If anyone has any bad reviews of any of it, then I would like to hear the down sides. If not, looks like I'll be good to go. Anything is better than factory, except having an all Sony system (no offense if any is caused). I have had friends with those and they sounded like utter crap. Sounded like someone had severe diahrrea in the trunk...

Not to write a novel or anything, but thanks for all of the responses. Any other suggestions are welcome and appreciated. I think I will start ordering this weekend to give time for other ideas in terms of sub location, type of box, wiring, staging, etc.

Those are basically the same line I have in my car. I am running 300 watts channel rms and they love it.

Ordered the HU and components today. I will wait til I find a place around me that sells the wiringwhere I can buy just the pieces and lengths that I need instead of getting a kit before I order the amps and sub. I will also start getting an idea of the box for the sub. Anyone know of a place that has all this wiring stuff around Northern Va? I used to go to a placed called Wholesale Outlet in Fredericksburg Va for all my wiring and fuse boxes, etc.

I can't wait to hear Ticks and Leeches with the new setup!!!
