so as to not add a new topic, i installed aftermarket fog lights where they are taking power from the headlights so when i turn the headlights off, they go off, or my high beams on, they go off. What other power source in the engine compartment should i tap into instead of the headlights so i can have em on whenever my cars on? and now only when trhey stupid headlights r on

Your fog lights need to be driven off of a seperate relay so as not to burn the factory wiring out. A factory headlight can draw 20-25 amps, as can a fog light. If your factory headlight wiring is driving your fog lights and headlights you run a pretty good risk of blowing fuses or burning wiring. If you do not have a relay in there you need to add one, or a fire extinguisher.........
