hey cool. We have alot of questions about doing a double din swap but nobody ever shows the finished product. How much was the dash? When I scratched my dash I just went with a black laquer for durability. It looks better then stock and is durable but easy to fix.
I'm gonna ask a REALLY dumb question! That looks damn cool and I was wondering if I could get that dash kit for my 96 stang? The dash style looks similar to mine. I have been asking around for a while now if there was something I could replace my stock dash with that could house a unit like that. That looks great!
Actually didnt have to buy the dash it came like that..so all i did was stick a double din in there.. i have seen allot of my years thou with that funky.. split single din thing going on. and im not sure wats going on behind that dash to say ya it can be switched.. best way is to pull urs apart and look.. that trim just pulls off well mine just pulls off like cake
