Fuse box diagram
Does anyone have a fuse box diagram for the 05 and up mustangs or know where I can get one? I had a dvd player installed a year ago and a few days ago when I cranked the car up, the dvd player didnt come on. I'm suspecting a blown fuse. Can anyone help?
mailme your manual and I will read it for you and then tell you which ones to check ok?
When you suspect a bad fuse, you need to check them all. Yes I said check them all, including the ones by your battery. Take a meter and check them in their place or pull each one out and check it. Circuits are often linked to one another so it is not uncommon to have the radio go dead with the windshield wiper fuse blows....

THE fuse? which one did ya check?
I can think of at least3-4 different fuses in two different locations that could possibly be causing your problem.... I know you want somebody to run out and take a pic of them pointing to the fuse you needbut it is not going to happen. I am not trying to be rude but I will cut and past what I said above.

Now after checking every single fuse(both under the dash and by the battery) if you have still found nothing then you will need to pull out the deck and look for the fuses on it. Every piece of equipment should have a fuse on the power wire. sometimes they are in the hrns going to the unit, sometimes mounted on the back of it. If you still have nothing then you will need to pull out a voltmeter or test light and start checking power wires to let me know what to find.
Or you can take it to a shop and they generally charge $50/hr for general troubleshooting/repairs.
