I'm sorry, didn't mean to be mean..... Good news is that you can always make a big box smaller, it is much harder to make a small box bigger.

lol @ the comments made towards the box, im literally falling outta my chair over here......but if the soundsplinters are in your price range and your box is pretty close to the specs for the subs...i would love to see that set-up and hear it cause that magnet is f'n huge, like it really looks like those soundsplinters will out perform my old DHD-12incher lol

^^ not that this matters but magnet size and or sub weight has nothing to do with proformance on a sub. If that was the case then audioblahs 34" sub would be unbeatable at over 240lbs but the world record holder sub only weighs 60lbs. Just some info.

man bill I don't know how that box could be built to specs........ if the holes are 8" then the front face on that is about 12"? and I could guestimate the length of the front at approx 40"? It looks to be 2X as deep as it is tall so that would give the approx size before the port at 40" x 12" x 24" which is a rough size of6 cubic feet? 8s are often optimized around .4 cubic feet each so for 2 8's it should not be much more then 1 cubic foot, or 1ft x 1ft by 1ft.

What subs are you using? We can design you box and give you the measurements to take to home depot to have them pre-cut the pieces for you so that with the dimensions and $35, all you will need to do is glue/screw and put a couple of round holes in them and you will have a properly built/tuned box. I have seen your work and know that you like better, don't settle for less because a buddy owed you a favor....
