You are having a voltage drop. A compacitor will solve all your problems.

 

i have an 1.0 farad crapacitor but all i hear is that capacitors do nothing more than put more of a strain on your alternator, that is correct right?

Well a compacitor keeps the voltage at a steady pace and shouldnt let it drop with the right size compacitor. It does stress your alternator, but so does a high wattage sound system.

 

Add another battery and add the capacitor, you'll be able to go louder and your lights wont dim or encounter low voltage problems.
