Default CD Player Wiring Connector Problem.

I bought a car stereo wiring connector for my 2000 GT. I went to install it, and noticed all the plugs weren't there. I checked to make sure I bought the right one, and sure enough, it says it will work with a 2000 mustang. I then done some research and found that If you have the mach 460 sound system, you need a special wiring harness for it. I was wondering if this was true, and if it is, where can I get the special wiring harness I need?

Thanks!

if you have the standard ford hrns already(70-1770 or fdo1b) then you will need an additional hrns to get the subs to play. Page 2 of my cardomain page shows how I put an alpine in my mach system. It does not have to be as hard as I made it as I tweeked it for a little while afterwards(added caps to take the bass out of the tweets) and was suprised how well the stock system could sound.

Ok, got them installed. found the right wiring harness at Auto Zone. The only problem I am having now, when I turn the CD player on I get this high pitched squeak. It only happens when I turn it on, then it immediately goes away. Any suggestions on what could cause this? I must note, It sounds great! Just hearing this high pitched squeak every time I turn it on gets annoying.

the sound goes away? it is not determined by the engine rpms?

What kind of radio is it?

Nope, engine RPM's don't bother it. Just when I turn it on (the CD Player), it makes that noise, then goes away. Its a Pioneer. I'm not too worried about it since it only does it for a second, but I would like to find out why its doing it.
