Opinions on Upgrade?
Like many I have swapped out all the speakers in my 2015 GT with the 9 speaker system. Went with the Kicker upgrade throughout. Pretty good improvement but still need a little more low end. Not wanting to rattle anything as well as keep cost low.
What do you think of the following.
Audio Design & Custom Graphics - tail light sub box
Kicker 10 Inch 40cws104 sub and amp kit.
Audio Control LC2i. Controller
With this setup I should be able to control sub volume with head unit controls while pulling signal from the rear speakers.
A lot of knowledgeable people on here. Not wanting a lot of booming base but would like more lows at lower overall volume. Do you think this will get me what I want

To stop rattle, just insulate metal parts, so they don't contact each other
when they vibrate. The trunk lid is what is going to vibrate, and maybe
even your rear plate frame. Also, any plastic parts that contact metal
can vibrate. I use rubber in between the trunk lid frame and outer shell,
or little shots of expanding foam in the space between the inner frame
metal, and outer metal skin. The bass my sound good inside, but what
we hear on the outside is horrendous rattling....
I will also put foam strips on the back side of the plate frame, so it
the frame itself doesn't come in contact with the plate, bumps and
bass.
Your AMP will have a gain dial, you can adjust that so it doesn't didstort
at high volume. I bought on of those Scosche LOC2SL amp add-on adapter
with a level control, that I will be using, when I get around to it....
