amp won't work

i got mtx amp and i hooked it up but no sound the light comes on but no bump. it's a class d mono. any help would be apreciated.

I doubt it's a fuse as, apparently, the power light is coming on. Definately check connections - specifically signal wires to and from the amp.

did you forget to hook up your remote wire or cehck to see if any wires came loose.

i have always had a system and 1 time i bought a used amp hooked it up everything came on light and all but no sound i tryed everything even bought and ran all new wires and still nothing took it to a shop and the pre amp was burnt so its just a likely instance

so if the pre amp is burnt out is it trash? the light was green i was running a cap uh i don't know what else you need. um when i hooked up my old amp it worked .
