Trucks are made for pulling, therefore torque. If torque is your objective, then that is a good engine for your application. But I somehow don't envision you pulling an 18 foot trailer loaded down with junk iron and motors.

yeah, but torque will get you off the line faster, and it'll really burn the tires right off the back.

I hope you aren't calling my impala junk, because it has just undergone a 3 year restore process.......

yeah yeah. Like i have said many times before I think Chevy's are better. The only Ford product i would ever own or drive in would be a 64 1/2-67 mustang, and maybe a 05-07 GT.

oh me too. I love the old Camaros. They are built better then our mustangs, but they also cost alittle more too.

What year truck is this 'supposed' 351c in?

Many people mistake 351m and 400s for 351c

Also, sounds like this motor needs a complete rebuild to me....used for 4 years, sitting for 3, kinda cranks......200 is still ok for core parts...but just make sure you know what you are getting into.

As for 2v vs 4v...both have +/- so I won't even start to broach a discussion on which is better...I do however have my opinion.

Well, I haven't seen the engine yet. MY friend says the valve covers have Cleveland written on them. So im taking his word for it, and hoping that they are the correct valve covers. Who really knows if it needs a rebuild or not. I believe by what my friend says, i can do alittle work, and it should fire right up.
