YOu don't need a tapmeasure to tell if its in a c or m.

Simply glance at that t-stat inlet area on the block. It is flush all the way across to the dizzy it is a c. It it is raised...its a m

 

Ah ok, That helps. SO basically if the T-stat is raised off the engine, it's not a cleveland. I hope it's not raised. Thanks Dodgestang

Thumpin, Im more of a small block guy myself. I grew up with all my cars having small blocks in them. Now, I wouldn't say no to a 572 sitting in my 62 impala, but i dont think that will be happening for awhile.

One more thing. IF the car and truck cams were the same, How did the car engines have more power then the truck engines. I thought they did have different cams.
