Default decoding head casting #'s

i popped the valve covers off of my 64.5 tonight and saw that on one head the casting read "65" over smaller numbers that read "3023".... on the other head the casting read "289" in the same size numbers as the "65" on the opposite head...... i know this car is supposed to be a 260 car and i am starting to think the motor was changed out for sure, as i had suspected before....... any one know where to decode this 3023 casting that i found????
