usually your local DMV. if you need one done up, you'll need them to do a title search and that'll take a while[:@] (it's the DMV, remember!
) and than if everything is kosher when they get their info back and things are on the up and up, you're good to go. but it will cost ya a few greenbacks.

Then apply for a new title. However, I can't imagine what kind of shape that car must be in if it has been sitting in the woods for 30 years. It may have some parts on it you could use, but the body has probably gone to rust heaven.

i would def look at the frame rails and body panels. if you don't think you are up to the resto, i will gladly take the FB off your hands!
