i have a 1966 mustang with a mild 289 my step dad owns a body shop and he just run me new flat turbo mufflers for free i love the sound of it with its little cam but i was really wanting to hit him up for the flowmaster super 40's do you think it would be worth it (how do they sound)

 

the flows are a little louder and have a more distinct sound i would go for it the price differencein nominal just be real nice and try and do extra around the house etc!

 

IM ALSO WONDERING HOW THEY SOUND.. I SHOULD BE GETTING MY LONG TUBE HEADERS TOMMORROW. I MIGHT BUY A H-PIPE AS WELL BECAUSE MY PIPES JUST GO STRAIGHT AND I WANT MY CAR LOUD!!!

 

if u want loud get some single chamber flows!!

 

single chamber? whats that? can you give some examples....

 

here's loud for ya, just drop a set of hooker comp headers and down pipes, nothing else. 2500 revs will vibrate your heart thru your body. only down fall is sooner or later, the sonic waves will knock you out/kill you.
